Intellectual Output 1 : Innovative use of mobile devices in the educational process: a study in European context
The present report is an intellectual output of the ERASMUS+ project called Bringing life into the classroom: innovative use of mobile devices in the educational process (BLIC&CLIC). This is a project that addresses the use of mobile devices in the educational context for the development of digital competences of teachers and students from 3rd and 5th grades from six European countries: Greece (1o Geniko Lykeio Rhodou), Italy (Istituto di Istruzione Superiore “Martino Filetico”), Poland (Zespół Szkół im. Por. Józefa Sarny w Gorzycach), Portugal (Agrupamento de Escolas da Maia), Romania (Colegiul Tehnic Edmond Nicolau Focsani) and Turkey (Toki Halkalı Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi).
The study made it possible to diagnose the reality about the use of mobile devices in the educational context of the schools involved in the BLIC&CLIC project, namely: (i) perceive the teachers' level of digital competences, (ii) perceive the teachers' pedagogical use of mobile technologies and (iii) perceive the teachers’ opinions on the advantages and disadvantages of using mobile technologies in an educational context.
